ARCHITECTURE OMI

THE DIRECTOR

Director Peter Franck has been partner with Kathleen Triem of F:T Architecture + Interiors, PLLC for nearly a decade and a half (www.ftarchitecture.com).  Under their direction the firm has become an atelier dedicated to exploring relationships among a wide range of disciplines including architecture, sculpture, photography, graphic and landscape design, and museum and gallery installations.

This multi-disciplinary approach to the practice of architecture is evident in their creation of the master plan, design and original curating of The Fields Sculpture Park which, under their direction, grew to a preëminent venue for propagating experimental expressions in sculpture. Especially notable in this regard is their multi-year series of curated efforts entitled 'Ignoring Boundaries' which postulated that unexpected media such as sound, light, painting, and photography could be brought together under the rubric of outdoor art.

Peter Franck and F:T Architecture + Interiors, PLLC has received worldwide attention, including press coverage in The New York Times, Interior Design Magazine, Dwell Magazine, New York Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, The London Financial Times, The Fine Living Channel, and a wide range of publications from Germany, Spain, Great Britain, Slovenia, Ukraine, and the US.
