Glad Hands: Art by Women and Men of Coarc
Art Omi: Education presents the annual spring showcase of drawings, paintings, sculptures, collages, and mixed media works by the men and women of Coarc. The exhibition is the culmination of bi-monthly workshops that provide opportunities for more than 60 individuals to engage in art-making, critical thinking, and collaborative projects. Since 2010, Coarc and Omi have maintained a partnership that upholds the goal of providing meaningful creative experiences for adults with disabilities living in our community. Join us for an opening reception on Friday, May 11, 12-2PM
This weekly drawing group offers time and space for individuals who wish to continue to hone their drawing skills in an independent environment. Participants work indoors in the light-filled Benenson Visitors Center and gallery or outdoors in the landscape of The Fields sculpture park.
A drop-in program every Saturday featuring teaching artists Rachael Kerner and Bryan Zimmerman.
